VarPhonex Launches New Customization Tools For VoIP Resellers
MIAMI (Business Wire EON) April 25, 2008 -- "Create-a-Plan is a powerful marketing tool as resellers can now vastly increase their profit by creating competitive plans that others can't offer," says Todd Hirshorn, VarPhonex Chief Marketing Officer. "With our Custom Dial Plan, resellers now have the ability to set rules to remove the need for users to dial 011 and the country code. Now, the user experience would match what they dial with the local phone company and our system will recognize it and connect the call correctly."
Create-a-Plan
Create-a-Plan allows resellers to design and create their own custom monthly calling plans by choosing the countries, type of service (such as fixed and mobile) and number of minutes included each month. It allows resellers to control top end usage on unlimited plans or build metered plans with a set number of minutes.
Create-a-Plan is designed to let the reseller increase profit by assuming the risk of their customers' usage. VarPhonex provides the reseller with advanced features to assist in monitoring usage patterns and suspending service for customers who fall outside of their predetermined calling habits. This allows resellers to set a maximum usage and cap their monthly costs to improve profit margins. Create-a-Plan automatically renews each month so there are no additional administrative requirements for reseller's recurring customers.
Custom Dial Plan
The Custom Dial Plan will allow resellers to "normalize" the dialing to their locality. By default, the customers of our resellers must dial 011+ when making calls outside of the US and Canada and 1+ when making calls to the US and Canada. When users are making calls through their local phone company, they don't always dial this way. The purpose of this tool is to allow resellers to edit the dialing pattern to be consistent with the way the reseller's client dials through their local telephone company.
